Watercolours have such a lovely luminous quality which I enjoy trying to highlight, using them in a spontaneous way but balanced with a more detailed approach.
Wildlife is a favourite subject matter as I hope to capture the subjects’ character and a sense of vibrancy and movement.
I am fairly new to relief printmaking and love the challenge of reduction prints, again focusing on wildlife as it provides continuous inspiration.
I graduated from Art School in 2000 but took up watercolours in 2016.
I paint from my home studio in Stroud and sell paintings, prints and cards.
