Karen is a textile and ceramic artist inspired by nature. She uses applique and free motion machine embroidery to paint with thread to create stunning and often very detailed works of art. She also creates hand built. botanical themed ceramics, each piece inspired by her favourite plants and flowers, captured in the clay and enhanced with glazes and underglazes to create gorgeous functional pieces.
