Diane Young is a painter turned printmaker continuing to be inspired by nature. Her lively animal paintings and prints often suggest storyline & humour and a hint of shimmering gold.
Alongside her paintings she creates collagraphs using textural printing plates to discover new ways of depicting animals, birds and the natural world. Sometimes the plates become artworks in themselves and prints are further worked into by hand adding watercolour or gold leaf and collage.
