Clare Stephens creates sculptural and functional ceramics. A variety of clays, firing techniques, glazes and surface treatments are used appropriate to each clay's property, responding to form, communicating values of empathy, diversity and acceptance, mirrored by those in her midwifery career, also aided by their curation. Clare has had a lifelong love and engagement with clay, consolidated by completing a Ceramics BA (hons) in 2021 and an MA in 2023. Exhibitions have included RWA in 2023, Royal Cambrian Open exhibition 2023 and 2024, Delamore 2025.
