As a self taught artist Diane has a particular style and technique giving her the freedom to be loose, exploring and experimental with her landscapes and seascapes. She is drawn to representational abstract Impressionism, in other words no detail just to capture that moment, that space, that place. Working mainly in acrylic, spontaneously and at speed Diane captures the atmosphere through colour, mark making layering and texture.
