Kay paints in acrylic and her artwork reflects the coming together of her passions for nature and painting. Taking inspiration from the British countryside, her subjects span flora, fauna and landscape. She is largely self-taught but has benefited from the advice and guidance from other artists along the way. She enjoys both detailed, representational work, as well creating more contemporary floral pieces. She is currently working on a series of paintings reflecting her experience of backpacking on the South West Coast Path.
