Every day is enriched for Sarah by colour and light. Her paintings are her attempt to capture on paper something of the beauty that these two elements bring to the world around each and every one of us. Sarah works almost exclusively in watercolours because of their wonderful translucency, or occasionally in soft pastels for their colour intensity. Her natural subjects are gardens, flowers and most recently interiors. Aside from a handful of workshops Sarah is self-taught and has successfully shown her work locally for many years. She has also been fortunate to have had work selected for open exhibitions at the RWA in Bristol and The Victoria Gallery, Bath. Several of her designs have been published by an international greetings card company.
