As a professional glass artist in normal times, I divide my time between teaching and as a practicing artist. However, the solitariness of lockdown gave me time to experiment and deepen my technical and visual understanding of kiln-formed glass. Working with colour, heat, mass and gravity, plus a fascination for fungi and lichen has led me to create a series of ‘Covid libation’ vessels.
